Tactile Pressure Indicating Sensor Film
Pressurexis a thin flexible mylar film that reveals pressure distribution between and magnitude between any two contacting or mating surfaces. Pressurex can reveal if pins on connector interface are seating properly between male/female interfaces and what exertion level is required to effect closure and full connection.

Example Usage of Pressurex Film Placed on a Connector |
Upon the application of force the microcapsules rupture, producing an instantaneous and permanent color change. Like Litmus paper, the color intensity of Pressurexis quantifiable; the color intensity reveals precisely what pressure level (PSI or kg/cm²) was applied at any discrete point on the surface of the film.
