Reveal Pressure Between Contacting Surfaces

Surface Contact Stress
Quickly Identify and Resolve Surface Contact Stress Problems
Fuji Prescale® is a pressure indicating sensor film used to characterize pressure between contacting or impacting surfaces. It changes color to reveal both pressure distribution and pressure magnitude.
Prescale is well suited for surface pressure mapping applications from 2 PSI all the way up to 43,000 PSI across a series of distinct pressure range films.
Simply place the sensor film sheet between any two contacting or impacting surfaces, apply force, remove the film sheet, and immediately it reveals a pressure profile of interfacial pressure distribution.
The film is thin, flexible, permanent, and easy to archive.

Testimonials
What people are saying about us.

"The film worked out great! Thank you for providing it in such a timely manner! I will pass your information forward as needed."John Deere

"We could not have accomplished our test program without your help!"NASA

"The analysis was Great! It helped give us a better view of the variation between the samples and certainly had more detail than we could extract from the basic color scale ourselves."GE Industrial Solutions
