Sensor Products Inc. (www.sensorprod.com) makes and sells products that measure pressure between contacting surfaces. We help mattress manufacturers measure body pressure on their mattresses so you’ll sleep soundly. Products like ours help food packagers keep your food safe from infection and spoilage, and the folks who build and test the brakes on your car use pressure sensors to keep your family safe from harm. The Job
We are looking for full-time sales engineers to sell our products and services out of our Madison, NJ office. Among your duties:
- Provide product and service information to our highly qualified clients who have requested that we contact them.
- Utilize phone and email to provide potential and actual customers with helpful information about our products.
- Assess the needs of our potential and actual customers and find ways to meet those needs by offering SPL’s products and services.
- Build a relationship with all clients to ensure customer loyalty and continued buying. This includes obtaining, and verifying information used for collection purposes.
- Whenever possible, inform the customer that we show our products best in demonstrations, and that this is the most effective method for learning.
- Appropriately offer and facilitate purchase, lease, and lease to buy options.
- Act as liaison between the customer and product managers for our products and sales, providing appropriate feedback and eliciting technical support when needed.
Your Qualifications
- Completion of a four year college degree.
- A passion for selling or a passion for learning to sell.
- Verifiable history of reliable and accurate work.
- A passion for learning new products and convincing highly educated customers of their importance.
- A clear phone voice and an articulate style of speech.
- A terrific vocabulary in English. Other language proficiency a plus.
- The ability to travel 20% of the time. Some overnight travel required.
- Able to work legally in the USA.
- Local to the Madison, NJ area. No relocation provided.
