Podia-Scan®
The Podia-Scan® system provides podiatrists and biomechanicists with an economical and efficient method for measuring static plantar foot pressure distribution. Podia-Scan® produces instantaneous and permanent high-resolution images of pressure distribution across the plantar surface.
The Podia-Scan® system consists of a consumable sensing mat, scanner and Windows®-based image analysis software. By using the Podia-Scan® mat in conjunction with our scanner and software, the system produces an enhanced full-color representation of the sole of the foot. Podia-Scan® user-friendly software renders informative and easily interpreted visuals in seconds with virtually no training required. Not only is Podia-Scan® an effective tool for diagnosis and evaluation, but it also can provide high profit margins and is easily reimbursable through over a dozen DRG and CPT codes.
