Electrical Engineer and Calibration Expert
Who we seek:
We are seeking an individual to join our team and serve as Production, GMP and Calibration Manager. This individual must be quite resourceful as we’ll rely upon his/her talents to find solutions to problems that are sometimes out of your direct area of expertise. The qualified candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be highly analytic, and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. As a small firm we’re able to provide an opportunity for the candidate to express his/her talent in a variety of disciplines. Likewise responsibilities entrusted to the candidate will cover a broad range. Travel, sometimes international, is required. Multiple languages are a plus. Responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and test circuitry that captures, clarifies, and interprets signals generated from our surface pressure mapping sensors.
- Assembly, calibration and testing of our various surface sensors.
- Detailed data analysis & signal processing.
- Software development and oversight.
- Overseeing research, selection and development of components and systems.
- Coordinate integration of software and hardware.
- Provide technical support to clients when needed.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of hands on experience in electronics assembly, design, and testing.
- A MS or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- A strong working knowledge of circuit board design, analog to digital conversion, firmware coding, signal processing.
- Proficiency in C++ and VB and Perl.
- Some knowledge of flex circuit characteristics, materials properities, mechanical design and principles of physics related to stress, shear, and strain.
- Demonstrated record of resourcefulness and creativity. Both of which are of paramount importance in this role.
Compensation and Benefits:
The position offers a competitive base salary, performance based bonus, paid vacation, 401K, and medical insurance. Relocation is not available for this position.
